Great ideas

Over the last weeks people from Germany, Italy, Sweden, UK and the U.S. handed in ideas for the DemoDay. The teams designed offline and online events, software and web apps, algorithms and data visualizations as well as digital educational programs – all to strengthen democracy. What a great result!
At the DemoDay we’ll present a selection of the best projects.
Get in touch with young experts in Software Development, Data Science, Social Media, Interaction Design and Online Communication.

Get inspired by their tech expertise, motivation and perseverance – most of the teams have been working for more than six months on their projects and will be able to show much more than a first idea.
We are looking forward to many exciting presentations.

The DemoDay

The goal of the DemoDay is to connect people in order to bring ideas to life.

We are convinced that tech plays a critical role in today’s challenges but our problems can’t be solved by tech alone. The DemoDay invites you as an enabler e.g. to help with expertise and advice, to support with your network or to offer operational support in order to make the next step.
Let’s make the DemoDay a place to join forces and show that engagement for democracy is even stronger together.

The #DisruptPopulism DemoDay will take place on June 1st in Berlin.

1 – The day will begin with keynotes by people from politics, technology, science and business who think about populism and democracy in new ways.
2 – Then all projects and ideas will present in front of all partners and peers.
3 – Afterwards each project is assigned a space for meeting with partners and peers in order to create real and meaningful agreements about shared efforts towards a common goal.
4 – For closing we will highlight the most exciting collaborations that resulted from the DemoDay before having a nice barbecue by the river with drinks and great people!

RADIALSYSTEM V is situated in the urban centre of Berlin. Formerly a turn of the century pumping station for the Berlin Wasserwerke (Berlin Water Services) it functions today as a cultural centre where new ideas ‘radiate’ out in all directions.
